Review on Edmodo

Edmodo is a global education network that helps connect all learners with the people and resources.  Edmodo is an educational technology company offering s communication,  collaboration and coaching platform to K- 12 schools and teachers.  The edmodo network enable teachers to share content,  distribute quizzes, assignment and manage communication with students,  colleagues and parents.  Edmodo is teacher' s centred.  Students and parents can only join the group if invited by the teacher.  Teachers  and students can spend a large time in and outside of the classroom.
Edmodo was founded by Nic Borg,  jeff O' Hara and Crystal Hutter by September 1, 2008. People of different language can use edmodo in their own language. Edmodo used by the people of USA, it is almost half of edmodo's total numbers of users. From 2008  edmodo is improving day by day.
Edmodo is the worlds largest network for K- 12 students, teachers  and parents.  Edmodo is designed to get students excited about learning in a familiar environment.
A teacher can use edmodo and can make a lesson, assignment for the students. But for this a teacher need to create a group.  To create a group teacher need to follow three simple steps. These are:
1. Go to www.edmodo.com. select I am a teacher.
2. Fill up the registration form and select the sign up button to complete the process.
3. Check the e-mail for a confirmation to view the next steps for setting up edmodo account.
After create a group teacher will get a code for hus/her class.This code will help students to join the group. After creating a group teacher can post text, activities and feedback.
Students can join the group with the class code provided by their teacher and also can do activities. By using edmodo students can improve their writing skill and also communicate with other. That means edmodo make a learner communicative.
Parents of the students also can join the group by using parents code. Parents code is different from students code. Parents can know about the activities or assignment provided by the teacher.  They also come to know about the result and progress of their children.
Edmodo has user friendly interface. But the feathers of edmodo has some limitations.  The grading of edmodo is very simple. That makes it harder to use in upper level education.  Edmodo needs an update to the design of the interface, because it looks a bit outdated.
Edmodo is a very simple and easy to use software. It allows an interaction between teacher and students. So I think it is a helpful education website for teachers, students and parents.
